Who We Are
MLS Equestrian is a small, but highly successful operation owned and ran
by Leslie Smith and her daughter Ashley Royer. Leslie has been showing
and training TWH, AQHA, and other gaited horse breeds for over 25 years.
She has also been a licensed, professional judge for over 15 years. And
a 4-H horse instructor for over 15 years. Ashley has been riding since age
6 and already beaten her mother.

Our Interests
Our interests include breeding and promoting sound, natural TWH,
developing training programs utilizing natural horsemanship and
resistance-free training, and implementing versatility training for our
horses. We strive to educate equestrians of all ages on how to better
communicate with their horses, the usefulness of versatility training, and
safety in all aspects of the horse world. We promote 4-H also.

Highlights
Leslie has blue ribbons wins in Shelbyville, TN at the National Trainer's
Show, the PWHAT Jamboree, and the TN Classic as well as placing at the
Celebration with a 7th place in the Western Pleasure World Grand
Championship. Leslie also has a Reserve Grand Championship at the
Internationals and won at the NWHA Nationals in Murfreesboro, TN. In
2003, Leslie won the FOSH National Plantation Pl. Grand Championship.
